Customize Firefox To Look/Behave Like Safari

Before moving to Mac I use to use Firefox 2 on my PC, but Firefox 2 on Mac quite frankly sucked so I decided to try Safari.  I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was once I got to know how to use it.

Now that Firefox 3 has fixed the majority of the problems that Firefox 2 had,  I’ve decided to go back to it.  The only problem with Firefox for me now is that I’ve gotten so use to some of the features in Safari I simply can’t live without them.  So I went on a hunt around the firefox add-on site to try and find some add-ons that will get me some of Safari’s functionality in Firefox.

Middle Click In Safari

After making the move to OS X I got to tryout safari and really liked it, so much so I decided to use it full time instead of Firefox. One of the problems I had was trying to break my habit of closing tabs with the middle button. After breaking that habit and getting use to clicking the close button on tabs I found this addon for Safari called MiddleClickClose.  For instructions on how to install it go here
